Not sure why I have not met these guys yet, as we are in some of the same bkln food circles, but check out Econobite’s fun videos. The shows are shot in a classic tiny NY kitchen.

Economy Bites sets out to solve the “don’t-feel-like-cooking/can’t-spend-the-money-on-take-out” issue. Our host, and resident foodie, Allie, will show you how to make a delicious, easy dish that will last you all week long. Because really, why not take the time to cook when you have it? Do it big and do it right!
Here is their latest show, featuring Anneliese Griffin of Brooklyn Based , a great email newsletter about Brooklyn, making chili with ground beef from The Meat Hook, a new butcher in Brooklyn NY that i have to go check out.

This reminds me of Hungry Nation’s Working Class Foodies (except less folk music). Short and to the point. Nice.

Chili with beans in it? You can get serious jail time for that in Texas. Especially in your Frito Pie.
