I forget to score the bread when making my five minute artisan bread. I forget to do it so often that I have put up Post-It Notes above the counter where I form the loaves and on the door to the oven and even then sometimes I forget. I guess I just get excited.

Currently have this baking in the oven, I put the walnuts in after the flour but would recommend putting them in before putting in the oven, I forgot to and had to take it back out, it had been in for less than a minute but I hope it still rises OK.

Just put a loaf of this in the oven and will let you know how it turns out. Used half and half with white wine vinegar added because I only had 1% milk and thought half and half would be closer to the consistency of buttermilk or yoghurt.
