What great fun watching you learn about bees. Yes every beekeeper has an opinion of what and how to do things, best for you is to try and find what works best for you. Here in Alaska I am one of a group of few but growing who actively over winter our bees rather than kill them off every year. It is a learning process.
Please keep up the great work and keep the videos coming, I wish they buffered better, the advertisements are perfect, no breaks at all but the video is very broken.
I do not smoke the bees, nor wear veil or suit unless it is a bad day or very cool.

I just love your bee tv. I am less than amateur, much much worse than you! – awaiting my first package of bees. I love how clumsy you are in your bee endeavors- sadly, so much like myself- looking forward to the sting of reality. But- that’s your (my) charm…I hope

It is very refreshing to see people starting out with bees, the fact that you made mistakes and are learning from them makes me feel like there are people like me in the world. I have been thinking of entering the world of beekeeping, and you guys make me feel like I won’t be alone! And it’s awesome to learn from people going through the same challenges as me, not someone who says ‘you just do it this way, it’s the way I do it.’
