Last week we visited with Patty Hulse at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, who showed us the cold frames they built and use throughout the winter. Very nice. Thanks to my friend Tony, ( the man who knits ) for helping with the camera. An episode on knitting is in the works.

Very interesting–I really like the frame with cinder blocks and plexi…who doesn’t have some of that laying around–or old storm windows.
Can’t wait for the knitting episode! My son knits too and his older brother is constantly telling him its not a “guything” so it would be nice to have proof it is.
