My Ginger Ice Cream is similar, but not exactly the same. The big difference is that I add minced crystallized ginger (from the FoodCoop) either into the ice cream or sprinkle the minced candied ginger on top of the scoop. Kind of like sophisticated jimmies. See you in the 'Hood. PS- I cook the egg whites for my dog; chopped & mixed into his kibble. Waste not want not. Plus he loves it.
