Drying food, especially fruit, is an age-old process that works, AND its a great way to keep the harvest coming into the winter. When you dry your own fruit, you know what’s been added to it, if anything, and its a lot cheaper than those dried fruits in the store.
How do you dry fruit? Please tell us, i’m curious.

A tip for you….if you dip your apple slices in some type of acidic juice like lemon or orange they wont brown, they come out of the dehydrator looking like you just cut them! Just something you may want to try!
