Rid Your Junkmail
Instead of mailing a statement to be removed from a catalog listing, how about just calling the toll-free numbers on the magazines and ask to be removed that way?
I’ve reduced my junk mail to almost zero for years this way. My technique was to make the call in the morning while making breakfast. Placed the phone on speaker, carried about my business in the kitchen (painlessly sitting through any hold music) and then just waited for them to answer the call. Here’s what I said “Hi name, I was hoping you could help me remove a name from your mailing list”. Tada! It’s amazing how fast you’ll see it work. Even did it for my family members too!
