What about paints? Indoor and Outdoor... Are potato paints good? Do they last as long as regular paints? Are there other ways of making homemade paints? We really need to repaint our shed this spring and I was hoping to use some type of potato paint. Also, can potato paints only be green or is there a way to add color or dye to them?

Hello Martino,
The best way to go green is to cook at home and not buy things you
don't need. When you do buy, buy local, organic and chemical free.
Even better, buy second hand. Craigslist is a good community for that.

Stay well,

Gennaro Brooks-Church

Greetings fellas, great info, but I live in LA. How does Eco construction happen here? I like the idea of not generating more waste and expense by using materials that would normally end up in the dump, but I'm a city dweller and don't own anything. I live in a small rented house. Do you guys have any ideas on how to go green in LA, with little space and as a home renter--does that really matter?
