		<description>Friend of mine has one almost identical to this, and coyotes chewed the wire off and ate all but one of her chickens this week...that poor biddy lives with my hens now. She has a bit of post-traumatic stress disorder, but seems to be integrating well...anyway, the point is that these are not safe chicken houses in areas with particularly determined predators. But then again, my huge run was squashed by a bear this year...</description>

Dogs, raccoons, and other predators will simply dig under the edge and have lunch.   Wire can be secured to the bottom, but this causes problems for chickens in foraging and dust baths.</description>
