I learned a lot about potatoes this summer: not to always accept what seems like the obvious answer. Jumping up and down about Colorado Potato Beetles before looking at all the clues, in hindsight, was not the smartest idea. This episode spans the summer, so I cut it into two parts for easier downloading.

Hey, towards the end of this TV show we get a glimps of the camera operator. I can’t see why she is so shy.

I planted my potatoes in lasagna gardens and hilled the potatoes with straw…I’m so excited that you had potatoes under all that straw….since I live on a quarry bed of rock…making the beds was the only option for us…thank you so much for the videos…and It was finally nice to see your lovely wife…Love her comments…
