This is a recipe based on my mom’s years of baking banana bread. Its a big favorite of mine, a super comfort food.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 ripe bananas
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mix together the sugar and softened butter with a hand mixer
Add in the bananas and eggs, mix them in.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl with a fork.
Add the dry ingredients into the wet batter and stir to combine, but don’t over mix.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350F
