Statistics like the ones you quoted about lawn mowers in this show drive me crazy. They are what my Dad would have called "ass statistics" because they are just pulled out of...well, you get the point. How could you prove how much gas is spilled as people fill up the tanks on their mowers? Ass statistic.

I happen to use a rechargeable gas mower, not because I want to feel environmentally virtuous, but because I hate changing oil on anything. However, I will defend the gas mower to the end. They are only used for short periods of time and in many climates for only part of the year. And there simply is no better perfume in the whole wide world than the smell of freshly cut grass.

Why don't you put all of your cast iron pans on the wall? Kind of like a focal point in your kitchen or dining room and arranged like a piece of art? Just food for thought!

I was gifted with a nice old cast iron frying pan my brother in law picked up at the dump - it had some rust spots on it. BIL showed me how to use a wire brush attachment to a drill - it worked great! You should use eye protection and a dust mask, Once you get the rust off, wash the pan and re-season - you're good to go!.
